Episode S01E02 The First Taste - Two college kids driving down the road see a sign for a place selling TruBlood. After a poser tries to act like he's a vampire to impress some girls a real vampire shows up and runs them off. Sookie a waiteress at the local bar asks a man for his order the vampire responds by asking for a bottle of trublood. Sookie has to refuse the man's order because there is none is stock. Shortly afterwards Sookie runs outside of the bar to find two people draining a vampires blood. Vampire blood is as known as V on the streets and is high demand due to the super human sex drive you get from it. Sookie runs the blood poachers off to save the vampire now known as Bill.
